I went to bed at about 7:45 last night. Emi laid down with me, we read books, and then I held her. And then I passed out cold until about 7:30 this morning. That's when Emi and Ox both came running in, climbed up, and snuggled and played.
Emi and I spent time downstairs and then she wanted to go down to the library to turn in her latest reading sheet. So we put on our shoes and took a walk. We hit the library, and then she ran all over the playground while I read a book and let her be a kid and have kid freedom.
Walking home was full of drama. Emi was tired from running around and this translated directly into meltdown-itude. We eventually made it home and had lunch.
Then, while Ox napped and Emi thought about napping, Downwood and I played some GW2. Then I went back downstairs with Emi.
Accomplishments for today:
Walk to the park
Gaming
Putting together my Skater Dress pattern
Cutting out the Skater Dress from my feather patterned knit from Girl Charlee
Cutting out a Moneta with a modified bodice size patten from the deep peacock blue from Girl Charlee
Cutting out a Mabel from the bright turquoise from Girl Charlee
Cutting out a black slip
Cutting out a white slip
My cutting hand hurts now, so I'm going to take a break and maybe play a bit more GW2. I'm so very glad to be home. This is restful and where I want to be.
