I'm no longer stuck on the puzzle I've been trying to solve since Monday. I got a hint on Twitter that immediately cracked it wide open for me. Whew.
Also, I caved at lunch and got gelato. It was delightful. I also decided that the last couple days have warranted the purchase and consumption of the amazing "pot pie" that was thankfully on the menu today.
Why sarcastic quotes around "pot pie"? Basically, our cafeteria makes a big pot of the pot pie filling - the chicken and veggie soup/gravy. Then they serve the soup/gravy in a bowl and put a square of amazing puff pastry on top. I kid you not, the made-from-scratch pastry is 2" tall when they first serve it. So good.
And now, if my daily Advil would kick in to make my daily headache go away, things would be okay for a while.
