actually working. I know, what a shock.

I've actually done quite a bit of work today, and I'm pretty happy with it. Once I get into the groove, I enjoy translating English into Science. When Boss finally okays the manuscript for publication, I'm going to celebrate wildly!
*stretch* Before my brain leaks out of my ears around my headphones (yes, that's why I wear them), I thought I'd go through the movie reviews generated by the weekend. Ah, movie goodness.
Harry Potter 3 - Good flick, though they really needed to include about 5 more minutes of conversation at the end of the movie. Because they cut those lines, I think they've screwed themselves for book 4.
Playing God - Entertaining, though it strengthens my opinion that David Duchovny can't really act.
Jekyll and Hyde - Was originally terrified to see that David Hasselhoff was playing the lead character. Damn, but that man knows how to look crazy. When he was Jekyll, his hair was always in a ponytail; when he was Hyde, his hair was always in front of his face. Does that mean that I'm the Evil Twin when I don't have a hairtie? Something to ponder. *grin*
Chronicles of Riddick - Entertaining. I still have no faith in Vin Diesel as an actor, but Riddick is enough of a badass that he can't really mess it up. The best line, "I hate not being the bad guys."
Darkness Falls - Nice and creepy
Needful Things - Makes me want to go find a small town to lurk about for a month or so before pitting all of the citizens against each other...but my hair's pulled back today, I shouldn't be this evil...
The Order - The ending makes the rest of the movie worth watching. "I hold the keys to heaven."
Gothika - Has probably the best metaphor for mental illness that I've seen in a long time. Pour a glass of water on a mirror and look at your reflection. That's the reality that the person with the illness sees. Also, a great line for therapy, "You can't trust someone who thinks you're crazy."
Chicago - I love this movie.
Invader Zim - Volume 1 - The pants command me! Do not ignore my veins! Watch this show!
xXx - Hadn't actually watched the special features. I want the pole-dancing bed. I'd have to move to get an apartment that it would actually fit in, but I'm seeing that as a worthy reason for moving.
I like being prepared in case of zombie attack. This is good to know. Must remember to pick up a generator in addition to my chainsaw, blowtorch, and shotgun.

Oh, you and your crazy desire to tempt fate. You'll do anything on a dare. Sometimes reality is amazingly forgiving. Sometimes you get more than you bargain for. (Go on, someone, dare me! We'll see what happens...*evil grin*)

It is even harder for the average ape to believe that he has descended from man.

btw, Galieth, thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou for making my computer happier with me!
