I currently have two patterns for Elizabethan corsets on my living room floor. The fabric to test drive on of them is in the washing machine right now. I also have a roll of a GORGEOUS red brocade. The pattern is subtle, so I don't have to worry about matching it on seams (I know my limitations). I'm terribly excited about working with it, but I need to make all the underthings before setting out to make something REALLY fancy.
Right in front of me is a pile of little chick-dudes that need arms put on, primed, and painted. Downwood finally convinced me that I might like to play Warhammer 40k, mostly based on the Ooh! Shiny! Pretty! factor of the minis involved. No, I am not ashamed of my girliness, thank you very much.
Of course, there's a bin of cross-stitch patterns upstairs, as well as a bin of yarn. I only have 15 or so books on my To Be Read list, a fabulous video game to play (God of War, a TRULY kickass game), a game to continue plotting for, new nail polish to try out, and some cookies that could get baked.
Decisions, decisions.
The next time I complain about being bored, please smack me upside the head with a haddock.
