sabineAfter a day of frustration and getting thrown under the bus by my most evil customer, I decided that I needed to be a grown-up about the whole thing and get into a better mood before going home.
Step 1: Go out for seriously good ice cream. Not quite Babcock Hall good, but still very good. Cake batter with fudge ribbon and chunks of chocolate cake. Mmmm.
Step 2: See friends with good senses of humor who also appreciate eating dessert first.
Step 3: Marvel at the dumbass who decided to park perpendicular to the curb instead of parallel. This will be important later.
Step 4: Watch Captain America walk down the street. Really, really hope that he's coming over for ice cream, too.
Step 5: Cheer as the convenient police officer dispenses Instant Justice to the dumbass who still hasn't come back to his truck.
Step 6: Come to a halt about 1/3 the way home as a cow tries to make up her mind which side of the highway she really wants to be on. The north side? The south side? The north side? The south side? There were other cows in the ditch on either side of the road. I think they were being less than helpful.
Step 7: Get a big hug from someone who's recently learned the words "hot" and "tall" and isn't always sure what they mean. Sometimes she's right, sometimes not so much.
Step 7.5: Life is good.
